Margaret Drescher lives and works, with her husband Jim, at Windhorse Farm in Nova Scotia, Canada. They are the founders and directors of this 250 acre heritage farm and forest using Shambhala Principles. These are lived as a living experiment, “The Windhorse Way”, in hosting the community, land stewardship and leadership programming on this place of sustainability and magic. Jim Drescher studied the Buddhist and Shambhala teachings with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche from 1973 until his death in 1987. Since then he has continued to study and practice meditation under the guidance of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, Tsoknyi Rinpoche, and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
