Jim Drescher

Jim Drescher studied the Buddhist and Shambhala teachings with Ch├╢gyam Trungpa Rinpoche from 1973 until his death in 1987. Since then he has continued to study and practice meditation under the guidance of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, Tsoknyi Rinpoche, and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. He and his wife Margaret are co-directors of Windhorse Farm in Nova Scotia, a 167-year experiment in land stewardship and a demonstration site for sane alternatives in forestry, agriculture, energy generation, and community development.
