Iris Ramos

Iris Ramos is a Shastri or senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist meditation tradition. Shastri Ramos was appointed to this position in 2012 and has been a practitioner in Shambhala for the past 26 years. She is also an active teacher of Ikebana and childrens’ program. In previous years, she served as Resident Director of Shambhala Training in Austin, and as Regional Co-Director for the South Central Region of Shambhala. For the last 30 years, Shastri Ramos has held a private practice in Clinical Social Work with a specialty in children and family therapies. She currently resides in Austin, Texas.
