[Image: re-link pending] Ever wondered how qigong and meditation can support each other? It’s all in knowing how to enhance our awareness of body and mind. Being aware of body and mind is an important key to cultivating physical health and inner well-being. Awareness of our body allows us to tune into our physical condition, giving us valuable information on the aspects of health that we need to attend to. Awareness of mind allows us to tune into the kinds of thoughts that arise - be they nonsensical, positive, or negative. Negative thoughts can lead to erratic flow of qi and blockage of energy in the body. Nonsensical thoughts can drain and waste precious qi cultivated and stored within us. Working with thoughts can help us conserve and circulate internal energy for health and longevity. In this weekend, you will learn how to use techniques of Taoist Meditation that are designed to support the practice of qigong and how to apply qigong to enhance your experience of stillness and clarity. It is in stillness that we can tune into the workings of our body and mind. It is in clarity that we can identify the kinds of thoughts that will facilitate or hinder the flow of qi.
