Tomas Howlin

Born and brought up in Buenos Aires, Tomas shares his 14 years of teaching and performing experience throughout Argentina, North America, and Europe. Having had the privilege to study and assist some of the most respected master teachers of tango, young and old, and through his understanding and dedication, Tomas has created a bridge linking traditional Argentine Tango with the newer tendencies. Tomas has also studied Martha Graham Dance Technique, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Technique, and was trained at the University of Tango in Buenos Aires where he also taught for several years. His knowledge and pedagogy of tango are unique and exceptional. Tomas believes in a natural, relaxed, thoughtful, and skillful tango; one that is distinctive of each individual.
