Tara Halwes

Tara Halwes, Kadö, currently holds the post of Trident Regional Commander for the Dorje Kasung. She has previously served as a Rusung on the Shambhala Council of the Boston Shambhala Center, overseen security for numerous events with Shambhala and visiting teachers in the northeast, and most recently served as the Camp Commander for the 2016 Magyal Pomra Encampment at Shambhala Mountain Center. Tara lives in a cohousing neighborhood of 68 clustered households in central Massachusetts, designed by its residents to increase social interaction and community engagement while reducing environmental impact.
