Mary Campbell

Mary is a practitioner, meditation instructor and teacher within the Shambhala-Buddhist tradition.  In 2010, she was appointed by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche as a shastri  for the Halifax Shambhala Centre.  Professionally Mary is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry and Mental Health and for many years has taught meditation in health care settings.  She has written on mindfulness and meditation for nursing publications and been a co-investigator in mindfulness research.   Mary lives in Halifax with her husband Chris Morel and enjoys spending time in the garden.
