Maggie Bernstein

Maggie Bernstein has been a member and student in the Shambhala community for over 25 years. Until recently she was on the staff of Karme Choling as Shambhala Training Resident Director. Maggie holds a doctorate in Sociology and has had a long career as a Professor of Sociology and a university administrator. She is currently teaching sociology at Vermont State College. She has always been concerned with issues of social injustice and sees all forms of education as an essential factor in bringing about positive social change.
