Joe Litven

Dr. Joseph Litven has been a student of the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche since 1974. He is a senior teacher of Shambhala Training, having taught programs for more than 25 years in North and South America as well as Europe. Over the past 10 years, he has been Dean for Shambhala Training in Halifax, working with and assisting directors and assistant directors. Professionally, Dr. Litven is an organizational consultant with a specialty in enhancing communication and leadership in public and private sector enterprises as well as NGOs. He sits on the Board of the Shambhala Institute for Authentic Leadership, an innovative annual program combining meditative, artistic and organizational practices for a global audience of diverse participants. He is also a part-time DJ for a community radio station in Halifax.
