Lodro Dorje Holm
Lodr├╢ Dorje (aka Eric Holm) began studying with the Vidyadhara in 1971; he was appointed by the Vidyadhara in 1976 as the Lopp├╢n, or Dean of Practice and Study, responsible for supervising the meditation and study programs of Vajradhatu centers. He worked closely with the Vidyadhara in training meditation instructors and teachers, and especially with vajrayana students. He was an early member of the Nalanda Translation Committee, and worked on translations of The Rain of Wisdom and the sadhanas of Vajrayogini and Chakrasamvara. In 1978, he was appointed to the Vajradhatu Board of Directors and served in that post until 1990. In 1981 he was a co-founding faculty member of the Nged├╢n School of Higher Learning, an institute of advanced Buddhist studies. At Naropa Institute he participated in a number of Buddhist-Christian dialogue conferences. In 1985, the Vidyadhara appointed him Dorje Lopp├╢n, with further responsibility for advanced teaching, especially for vajrayana students.
