About this program
An Extended Silent Meditation Retreat Summer into fall is often a transitional time. With the autumn season approaching we often anticipate a fuller and more structured schedule. August is a perfect time to gift yourself an intentional break from everyday life with time and space for reflection, relaxation and rejuvenation. Disconnecting from the noise of everyday life, offers a time to practice using mindfulness to investigate your moment-to-moment experience. Taking a break from constant overstimulation and external demands creates space for cultivating greater calm, spaciousness and presence. Settle in for five days of silence and stillness at Karmê Chöling. August in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont is a time of great beauty with a sense of abundance. The natural world surrounding KCL is the perfect setting for this transformative experience.
