The 30 fee is for the meals and reception as well as facility useage. There is no off-land discount; all other discounts apply. Those staying overnight need only pay for thier choice of accomodations. People in the dathun do not need to pay the $30 fee as they are paying for the dathun.

Prerequisites
As a prerequisite to taking the vow, please request that your meditation instructor forward a letter of recommendation to us. This letter should indicate when you took refuge, and how long you have been sitting, as well as whether they feel you understand the meaning of the vow. Recommendation letters should be mailed or emailed to Karmê Chöling, attn: Practice and Study, practice@karmecholing.org . Upon receiving this, we will send you an authorization code so that you can register on our website or by calling our registration staff at 802-633-2384. You will not be able to register until we receive a letter of recommendation and send you the code. Recommendation letters should be mailed, emailed or faxed to Karme Choling Attn: Sara Demetry, practice@karmecholing.org fax 802-633-3012. It is necessary to pre-register for the vows.
