Program
Winter Youth Retreat
Winter 2023
This program has ended.
In this weekend we will explore what it looks like to lead our lives from the principle of basic goodness.
Tuition Discount SPECIAL: 50% OFF Tuition now thru December 26th. Register now! In a busy, high-pressure, hi-tech world, the teachings on awareness and warriorship offer youth an opportunity to slow down, learn about oneself, and open one's heart to others. At the heart of the Shambhala teachings is the understanding that every person is fundamentally good and we have the potential to manifest as Enlightened Society. In this weekend we will explore what it looks like to lead our lives from this basic principle. Together we will create a culture that will encourage our innate qualities of kindness, wisdom, and strength. This retreat will include talks, discussions, art and physical activities synchronizing body and mind. Parents have an opportunity to participate in the year end nyinthün Letting Go and Letting Come held concurrently Dec. 26 - Jan. 1. Meals & Accommodations Included This special price DOES include all meals and accommodations on the shrine room floor. (The section under pricing says otherwise, but it doesn't apply in this case) There are no required materials for this program.
